**For
moisture meter correction, the
comparison of the Gann moisture
meter readings to actual oven
tests, were tested for at least
six different samples of floors
typically reading 6-8% on the
meter and then oven dried to 0%
and use the data to develop the
Gann adjustment factor.
**For shrinkage, the different
wood was measured at their width
and for moisture content and then
they were dried to 0%. 3"
flat sawn and straight grain flooring
samples were used to develop the
shrinkage coefficient in both
straight grain and flat sawn flooring.
**Disclaimer: These results were
obtained in a non affiliated testing
lab and the results are based
on the samples of wood tested.
They may vary from other samples
and from the same species growing
elsewhere. Therefore, HAWA bamboo
cannot assume any liability for
your use of this data. These test
results we taken from various
sites and publications and cannot
be documented by Hawa bamboo for
their results.
